My Story

Born and raised in Thailand while receiving an American education, I have always had a foot in two worlds. This has allowed me to see how interconnected we all are, and view all issues and topics through a myriad of lenses. The solutions and opinions I offer are thus multi-dimensional, and at times a little outside the box.

I have worked with senior policymakers in Southeast Asia to coordinate responses to emerging infectious diseases in the region, including the Ebola response in 2014-2015. My experience also spans working with health care leaders at health systems to derive insights from data that allow their organizations to improve their performance while achieving stated operational and financial goals in a sustainable, collaborative manner.

While I am quick to adapt to new environments and learn and grow from new situations, there are a few things about my working style that have always remained constant:

  • I first and foremost operate from a place of respect and trust. I prioritize building good rapport with all those I meet, from peers and colleagues, to clients and mentees. Without this foundation, I do not believe it is possible to achieve any collective goal.
  • I seek first to understand the big picture, before rolling up my sleeves to do whatever I can to get the job done.
  • I have a bias towards action, often driving meetings and projects in a way to arrive at consensus and next steps to ensure constant forward momentum of strategy, mission, and vision.
  • The only thing I know is that I don’t know everything. I do not hesitate to try to learn more from my peers, colleagues, and experts, and am never afraid to ask questions.

On weekends, you can often find me exploring the many hiking trails in the Bay Area, reading or listening to a book, or doing crosswords with my husband while our two cats – Louis and Luna – are curled up next to us.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you believe there is an opportunity for both parties to learn from and help one another. I especially welcome any opportunities to give back to my community, whether that is through mentorship for early career professionals, policy advocacy, and/or pro-bono consulting.
